Granite Elements goes to Teignmouth
The Granite Elements artists are taking their exhibition to Teignmouth, following the trip the Granite took from Haytor to Ventiford , then by barge to Teignmouth.

Last week of Exhibition at Princetown
Happy New Year , if you haven't managed to make it up to Princetown yet, there is still time to go and see the Granite Elements Exhibition which finishes on Sunday 7 January 2018 open every day now from 10 am to 3 pm .
You go and and dry out and warm up inside the visitors centre and enjoy being transported to the Granite Tramway !

Christmas Fair at Princetown
Granite Elements have a stand at Princetown this Saturday 2 December for part of the Christmas Fair at Dartmoor National Park Visitors Centre 10 am - 3 pm
There will be new smaller items available to buy as well as more lovely cards and prints made by myself, Viv Styles, Mei Lim and Clare Benson

New Exhibition at Princetown
I am busy rehanging the Collagraphs for the Granite Elements Exhibiiton at Princetown Visitor Centre that starts on Thursday 2 November. There will some other new work to see as well, come along to find out more.

Monoprinting day with Anita Reynolds

Anita started the course with a demonstration of the various techniques - additive, subtractive using a selection of materials - netting, leaves, etc. The course was attended by ten participants with different backgrounds. All were fully involved and engaged. Anita was extremely encouraging and full of great ideas to help us all to think outside the 'box' and be adventurous.
Without exception, all who attended, really enjoyed the session. One person expressed her Love of the unpredictability of the work. Another person referred to the free creative flow. Anita provided exciting colours and there was always an eager queue of people waiting to use the press and find out what they had produced with the colours. As the day progressed everyone became more adventurous in their work. Anita's positive affirmation throughout helped to create a friendly informative and supportive ethos.
Anita finished by asking everyone to choose their favourite piece to be photographed.
The woodland centre was an ideal venue- warm, light with a stimulating environment.
Everyone left feeling enthusiastic and inspired.

Last Weekend at Yarner Wood
It is the last weekend at Yarner Wood for the Granite Elements Exhibition , on Saturday with the weather being kind Bridget Arnold will be doing Sun printing Demonstrations. lots of other artists will also be there to meet and greet you with drinks and cakes !
It is also an opportunity to walk up to the Granite Tramway if you fancy a trip up the hill.

Exhibition at Yarner Wood
The Devon Open Studios are now open we are venue 94 at Yarner Wood, fabulous location a good company of artists in their element with amazing work and wonderful cakes too. What more could you want for ! Open 11- 6 the next three weekends plus Friday 15 September an added extra 11-12.30 for taster sun printing workshop with Bridget
